Wow, long journey from San Francisco to Cairo, and very grueling at times. Yet the first words that I received in Egypt, from my Egyptian guide picking me up at the airport was, “Welcome Home”. And I do feel like I am coming home. Home to a part of me that feels very core to my being. Home to an inner knowing of another time, another way of life, and a deep connection with spirit. And I have landed at the world famous Mena House in Cairo! It is one of the most unique hotels in Cairo, surrounded by 40 acres of beautiful luscious gardens, with the Great Pyramids of Giza in clear sight. Mena House has a rich and colourful long history, and has played host to kings and emperors, Heads of State and celebrities. And I can’t sleep during the night because my internal clock is still on California time. So I meditate, checking in with my soul, exploring my reasons for being here, deepening my connections and communications with my spirit guides, including connections with Isis. And I focus on raising my energy, which feels fairly depleted and chaotic from all the “doing” it took to get here. And I get my energy open and flowing into my core. And then flowing into gratitude, like the feeling of getting to the top of a mountain, but then seeing there is a whole mountain range behind it that I am about to explore. Tomorrow I head to the Egyptian Museum, and I am sure there will be a lot of “Ah Haaaas” there to share. Much Love…
